Who should take TPT?

According to WHO, TPT should be given to people of all ages in close contact with TB patients; people of all ages living with HIV; people who will start anti-TNF treatment, who will receive dialysis, or who are preparing for organ or haematological transplantation; and prisoners, health-workers, immigrants from high TB burden countries, homeless persons and people who use drugs.

Community Engagement

 We successfully engaged the community members of Kwarin Barka in Kano State. This is part of the social awareness project for GBV and SRH. These girls and women were engaged on the need to serve as advocates in their respective communities, providing access to adequate information, resources and referrals.  Together we can advocate against GBV and provide access to information on SRH.

Annual Visitation

  We visited Kano Remand Home today as part of our annual visitations. We met and conversed with male juvenile offenders remanded for different offences.There are presently no female juvenile offenders at the home, some of them were recently transferred to Prisons and others released.  Some of their needs at the home include; drugs, brooms, detergents, food materials and vegetables etc. Thank you all for your donations and contributions.
