Dissemination Meeting of Community Based Assessment on 1HP Short-Course Preventive Therapy
We held a Stakeholder Engagement Meeting on Saturday, the 29th of June at Tahir Guest Palace Kano to disseminate findings from the Community Based Assessment to understand the perception of people on 1HP Tuberculosis Short-Course Preventive Therapy. This is a major milestone for the 1HP project, with over 2,000 households visited within the 8 high burden LGAs of Kano State, the findings and recommendations from the communities is expected to guide Government and Partners in improving the uptake of 1HP and other health services in the State. With the support of Government and Partners, 11 action items were developed during the group sessions to ensure the streamlining of efforts with the bottom line of improving health care services for the communities.
