Rahama Girl Child and Women Empowerment Initiative

  We visited Kano Remand Home today as part of our annual visitations. We met and conversed with male juvenile offenders remanded for different offences.There are presently no female juvenile offenders at the home, some of them were recently transferred to Prisons and others released.  Some of their needs at the home include; drugs, brooms, detergents, food materials and vegetables etc. Thank you all for your donations and contributions.

We visited Bechi to train 15 Women to serve as GBV Community Advocates. They will support their community in raising awareness, encouraging reporting, destigmatization of all forms of GBV, providing support and providing accurate information to their fellow community members.  #gbvadvocates #gbvawareness
