  Today our team visited the Executive Secretary of State Emergency and Management Agency, Kano State to seek for the approval in providing care to 3 Mentally Disabled Adults currently galavanting across the Metropolitan.   The ES has accepted our request and they will be admitted immediately to their facilities. Hopefully it is a beginning of a new relationship with us. Thank you SEMA

May 28th, 2021 is Menstrual Hygiene Day. We visited GGSS Gandun Albasa, Municipal LGA  of Kano State to raise awareness on menstrual hygiene and demonstrate how to make reusable sanitary pads.  Our health personnel talk to the girls about hygiene, common misconceptions and debunked some of the menstrual myths.  She also highlight on douching, infection, seeking for medical care and opening up to mothers/guardians for things they don't understand. She also indulged a Q&A with them.  Our volunteer Tailor conducted a practical session on how to sew reusable sanitary pads using cardboard and materials. #menstrualHygieneDay2021
