World Sickle Cell Day

 To commemorate World Sickle Cell Day, @nafisatbeida will be taking over our Facebook page for FB live to talk about SCD.

She is an advocate for genotype testing and SCD and she is a warrior herself.

 The live will hold tomorrow 19th June 2022 at 8.30pm. Facebook page is Rahama Girl Child and Women Empowerment Initiative @rgcweinitiative.

There will be lots of freebies.

 We successfully engaged the community members of Kwarin Barka in Kano State. This is part of the social awareness project for GBV and SRH. These girls and women were engaged on the need to serve as advocates in their respective communities, providing access to adequate information, resources and referrals.  Together we can advocate against GBV and provide access to information on SRH.
